External VoIP providers you can use with FlyNumber
Forward your FlyNumber's calls to any of the VoIP providers below. Incoming calls to a VoIP address carry no per-minute charges: unlimited incoming minutes*. You pay the FlyNumber's monthly rate, shown for every city on our coverage page along with any one-time setup fee.
Setup takes two fields in your FlyNumber panel. Set the number's Call Handling to Forward to SIP / VoIP Address, then enter the provider's SIP host and your username with that provider. Every provider page here lists the host. (SIP is the standard that VoIP apps and desk phones use to talk to each other.)
Want to call out with your FlyNumber as the caller ID? Switch the number to FlyNumber SIP any time: incoming calls stay included, outgoing calls are billed per minute from your prepaid balance. Our cloud phone system is an optional add-on for voice menus, ring groups and queues.
VoIP Providers
Search by name or sort by country. Each name opens a page with that provider's SIP host and the steps to connect your FlyNumber to it.
Details to keep in mind
- You're not limited to these companies. If you have a SIP address (a host or IP, with an optional port and username), we can send your calls there. See how FlyNumber works with any VoIP solution.
- Some of these companies have outdated mobile apps. If theirs gives you trouble, use their SIP details in a third-party SIP app such as Acrobits Groundwire or Zoiper. Or skip the middleman: FlyNumber SIP works with those same apps, and we help you set them up.
- Your panel keeps call logs for every incoming and outgoing call, including failed ones with a plain-English reason, so you can diagnose forwarding issues quickly.
- Prices vary by country, from $2.95/month. Check the coverage page for the exact monthly rate in your city and the pricing page for billing periods and discounts. New to virtual numbers? Start with what a FlyNumber can do.
Note: If the number supports SMS, incoming texts arrive in your panel's SMS inbox and by email, and sending works by default on numbers that show SMS out on the coverage page.
Five ways to use your FlyNumber
Note
Switch between them any time in your panel. A sixth option, Park the Number, stops the number ringing anywhere (callers hear busy) with no call charges.
Frequently asked questions
How do I connect my FlyNumber to one of these VoIP providers?
In your FlyNumber panel, open My FlyNumbers, pick the number and set its Call Handling to Forward to SIP / VoIP Address. Enter the provider's SIP host and your username with that provider, then save. Each provider page on this site lists the host to use. You can also choose this option while ordering, and change it any time.
What does it cost to forward my FlyNumber to a VoIP provider?
The FlyNumber's monthly rate, which starts at $2.95/month and is shown for every city on the coverage page along with any one-time setup fee (most numbers have none). There are no per-minute charges on incoming calls, so you get unlimited incoming minutes*. Pay quarterly, semi-annually or annually and you save 10%, 15% or 25%. Toll-free and metered numbers are the exception: they carry a per-minute incoming rate no matter how calls are handled.
Can I make outgoing calls with my FlyNumber?
Yes. Switch the number's Call Handling to FlyNumber SIP and register any SIP app, desk phone or PBX with the credentials we give you. Outgoing calls show your FlyNumber as the caller ID and are billed per minute from your prepaid balance at the rates on the Rates page. Incoming calls stay included. Some number types restrict outbound calling due to local regulations.
My VoIP provider isn't in the list. Can I still use it?
Yes. Forward to SIP / VoIP Address works with any SIP address, not just the providers listed here: enter the host or IP, plus a port and username if your provider needs them, over UDP or TLS. That covers your own PBX, a softphone service or an AI voice platform too.
Do I need the cloud phone system to use a VoIP provider?
No. Forwarding to your provider and FlyNumber SIP both work on their own. The cloud phone system is an optional add-on at $14.95/month for your whole account, for when you want voice menus, ring groups, queues, business hours or call recording. Usually you don't need it.
Can I send and receive texts on a FlyNumber that's forwarded to a VoIP provider?
Yes, if the number supports SMS. Texts don't go through your VoIP provider: incoming texts arrive in your panel's SMS inbox and by email, and you reply from the same inbox. Sending works by default on numbers that show SMS out on the coverage page and is meant for personal, person-to-person texting. Texting US numbers isn't available yet — it's coming soon (A2P).
