With Phone System App
The phone system app is the fastest way to start making and receiving calls with your FlyNumber. This guide will walk you through the initial setup process.
Prerequisites​
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A FlyNumber account
- At least one active FlyNumber and the phone system enabled
- A valid email address for receiving the activation code

Step-by-Step Setup Guide​
1. Access Your Account​
Navigate to https://www.flynumber.com/ and access your account:
2. Open Phone System Panel​
Click "Phone System Panel" in the side menu:
3. Launch Phone System​
Select "Launch Phone System" to open the configuration interface:
4. Access Users Section​
Navigate to the Users section:
5. Create New User​
Click the + button at the bottom right:
Select "Create new" from the menu:
6. Enter User Details​
Fill in the required information:
- First name (required)
- Last name (required)
- Department (optional)
- Job title (optional)
7. Configure Email​
Add your email address to receive the app activation code:
8. Enable App Configuration​
Make sure to enable the application configuration:
9. Configure Incoming Calls​
Select which FlyNumber will ring to your app:
10. Set Up Voicemail (Optional)​
Configure voicemail settings if desired:
11. Select Audio File​
Choose a greeting for your voicemail:
12. Configure Outbound Calls​
Select which number to use for outgoing calls:
13. Complete Setup​
Click "Save and Invite" to finish the configuration:
14. Check Your Email​
You'll receive an activation email containing:
- QR code for quick activation
- Download links for all platforms:
- iOS
- Android
- Windows
- macOS
- Manual activation code (if needed)
Next Steps​
After receiving your activation email:
- Download the app for your device
- Scan the QR code or enter the activation code manually
- Grant necessary permissions (microphone, notifications)
- Start making and receiving calls!
Make sure to allow:
- Microphone access for calls
- Notifications to receive incoming calls when the app is closed
If you don't receive the activation email:
- Check your spam folder
- Verify the email address in your user settings
- Contact support if issues persist
